In just 2.5 hours, the Energizer Power & Play Charging System for PS3 charges up to 4 controllers simultaneously. Charge 2 controllers directly on the main unit, and 2 more controllers using USB cables (sold separately). Includes a UL-approved AC power cord.

Comment: This is a good charger. I put this thing near the couch so I can reach the controller without having to get up. I think this charger can charge up to four controllers at a time (two like on the box and two more from the usb ports). Anyway, I only use the two main one. Havent try out the other usb ports. This thing doesnt suck up too much energy (>.01watt). Charges the controller in about half to 1 hours. I never totally deplete the controller battery so I dont know how long that would takes. While charging, the rim of the holder is red, and then changes to green when done. I think that would make this thing a smart charger. I dont know for sure, so I just remove the controller when the thing turns green.
This one is a good investment for all the lazy people out there.

Summary: Energizer PS3 Remote Charger
Comment: I bought this product to charge my PS3 remotes and it does just that. It seems to be pretty well built and I have enjoyed having it. My question is why doesn't the PS3 have powered USB drives that work when the system is off, so we don't have to buy this type of device in the first place? That being said I would highly recommend this product to those who would like to be able to charge their remotes while their PS3 is powered off.

Summary: Pretty much a USB cable with a fancy stand.
Comment: This is a great product if you manage to get it for cheap; it is definitely not worth it if it costs $30 (normal price). When you insert the controllers, the LED lights will turn turn red until the battery is fully charged (then it turns green). To the side of the unit, there are some extra usb ports that you can hook up other devices to charge as well (i.e. iPod, extra remotes). It is solidly built and it looks very cool. Other than that, I suggestion is not to get it at full price, wait until there is sale like I did when it came down to $10.

Comment: I bought this product and I love it. I dont have to leave the ps3 on, nor do i have to plug it to the usb on the computer. Well worth it.

Comment: For $15 you can not beat it. It charges my controllers flawlessly and the red or green light lets you know when they are fully charged. I need another one for my other two controllers. It can charge two additional controllers via its USB ports but I like being able to attach them to the stand without wires. The stand fits behind my Samsung TV and cannot be seen so that is also an added bonus for aesthetically pleasing me.
