It lets you control the paths of 3 different characters while guiding them through challenges and storylines in the quest to go from development league to the NBA. There's also a full-featured Franchise Mode, letting you experience every facet of running your own NBA team. Earn skill and experience rewards used to thoroughly customize player appearance and play styles. Customize up to 5 different players to take through the progression update. The Inside uses a true T.V. broadcast presentation with highlights, a broadcast-style camera, and a comprehensive and in-depth audio commentary. Summary: LOVE IT
Comment: You cant just listen to the reviews, this game to me is the best, and im not even choosing it just to say, I HAVE ALL THREE NBA GAMES, and this one is definitley amazing, the only prob with the game is that you are to acuurate, on a online game i shot 96 points with kobe, fun for me, not other dude though. Definitley a fun game and graphics are very good, and i love the replay system!!!

Summary: Very Different from NBA 08
Comment: I actually did not believe the critics poor review of this game because they said the same thing about NBA 08 and I really enjoyed that game. NBA 09 The Inside makes a poor attempt at making their game more like the other higher rated basketball games out there. In doing so, they removed the good qualities that set it apart and drew in people like myself who just want to play some fun basketball. I enjoyed the arcade-like features of the 08 game and I thought the graphics were great. The Inside took a nose dive with this new version, especially with the graphics. Other reviews speak of the glitches that occur during game play and sadly enough I found this to be very true. About one out of every four games I play freezes up and there is nothing I can do except restart the game. They did make a franchise mode where you can create your own draft and I like the option to make five custom players that you can upgrade along the way. Overall you are better off with one of the other NBA games for 09 or I still like the 08 version of this game.

Comment: I was very skeptical at first. All the professional reviews were raving 2k9 and dissing this one. Found it on black Friday deal for single digit prices. Iam very happy that I bought this one. Technically this is the best looking basket ball game out there. Graphics looks stellar. It may not have all the nuances of 2K series.. who cares. Unless you are fanatic it wont matter. The game plays silky smooth every thing works as expected. If you take time and setup your defense it is easy to play. Seriously give it a try if you see it on sale. There is a high chance you will like it.
I like the story mode in the game. You start from the streets and grow up to pro. It is better than madden be a pro mode. There is a good story that makes you to finish the single player campaign. If you want to show case the power of your PS3 pick this one... you friends will be awe struck when they see this one in action.

Summary: Great Fun
Comment: I downloaded the demo of this game and another NBA09 Live from Sony's Playstation Store about two weeks ago. We tried both demos several times. I deleted the other almost immediately as it just did not play as well (IMHO) as this one. My two sons and I played the demo over and over. The periods in it are only 1 minute in length but you have a full four and it is two player. I have a 65" Mitsubishi DLP and the graphics are astounding for a PS3 game. I had to have the actual game and bought it last week. I can not say it does not have a glitch now and then but for the overall, it is amazing. I think it is much better than the other demo of NBA09 and better in graphics and gameplay than NBA08 Live. BTW my one son is six years old and he is fantastic when he plays this game. It is his favorite PS3 game and he just loves beating the pants off of dad. My wife agrees also, of the three games, this is the best. If you like basketball games, give the demo a try and see for yourself.
