Summary: Fun Game but the Microphone Broke
Comment: Rock Band 2 has been a fun game for all my friends. However, after about nine hours of total play, the microphone stopped registering sound without apparent reason in the middle of a song. Tried all sorts of troubleshooting, but it's broken. Had to spent 40 minutes on hold with EA games to start the complicated return process. Hopefully the return goes through without a hitch and we can resume playing again. It will take at least two weeks to get the new mic though. Bottom line: fun game, disappointing and frustrating hardware problems.

Comment: This game rocks if you're playing by yourself or with others. It is a lot of fun and improved over the last edition. If you like this type of game you will love Rock Band 2.

Summary: Fun but cheap made.
Comment: We bought this for our family for Christmas and by the end of the next day the pedal for the drum set already quit working. Two more days and the entire drum set is no longer working. When contacting support via the web you must submit the original receipt. They only give you a 60 day warranty from the day you bought it. So if you bought it in August ans stored it until Christmas you're screwed! If you did manage to keep the receipt and it's within 60 days then you have to give them a credit card and submit to a $125 "holding fee" until they receive the old part back in the mail. The entire drum set is only worth $55 so right away I see they only care about money and not the quality of their own products. We found the game extremely fun but I will never buy another one from this company.

Summary: I got my band back together!
Comment: I bought RB2 for my 16yr old daughter this past Christmas. I played Rock Band 1 one night with my friends and had a great time. Now, I am playing in a band with my daughter and her friends. This is alot of fun. Just like when my friends and I played in a metal band back in highschool.
I find this game a great way to widen the kids interest in music; playing along to most of the same music I listened to when I was their age.
