In 1930s Europa, tensions rise to an all-time high between the continent's two distinct military powers - the Empire and the Federation. In the struggle for ultimate supremacy, the Second Europa War (E.W.II) erupts, and Gallia, the small independent nation situated between the two super powers, now faces attack. The Empire's Imperial Army is first to strike Gallia, forcing the young lieutenant Welkin Gunther to pull back his small platoon. As the invading forces charge toward the capital city, Welkin discovers that not only are they outmatched in scale and weaponry, but the enemy army also has Valkyria, an unusually powerful race, in their ranks. Summary: Simply a classic game!
Comment: The depth of the gameplay and overall length of the game make this a great purchase for any PS3 owner. The addition of characters from Skies of Arcadia are a real treat as well. You don't have to be a die hard SRPG fan to enjoy this title. The game is open enough that any non-closed minded person could pick it up and learn how to enjoy the game in 10 minutes or less.

Summary: Owning a PS3 and not this game is a paradox.
Comment: There's just no reason not to pick up VC! I'm not a huge strategy RPG fan, but I found this game much more captivating than even Advance Wars. Great cast of characters, looks beautiful, amazing soundtrack, and above all, it's fun. Pick it up, and give your support to one of the best PS3 exclusives ever.
