Customer Rating: Summary: Great for the whole family Comment: I bought this game for the kids but soon found myself playing a couple of the games with them. The thing I like about Outdoor Challenge is that it has a plethora of games with different skill levels so there is always a challenging game for everyone.
Customer Rating: Summary: Outdood life Wii game Comment: I got this game for my grandson, age 11, and he liked it. He installed it and set up the pad with no problem. He enjoyed the games and wanted us to watch him. Besides the enjoyment he was getting exercise and improving his balance.
I bought this game when it was a special price so I got a double bargain. However I would have paid the original price.
Customer Rating: Summary: Fun and gets you moving. Comment: First time Wii users here as of Christmas Day('08). We played this as individuals, but could play with more than one person. The games here are simple enough that a 5 year old could do them. The "log run"(?) gets you moving the most, and the mole stomp. I don't see the point of the kayaking activity. Overall like, because it does get you to move your legs. The mat works fine, but does not look too sturdy.
Customer Rating: Summary: A Good Choice Comment: We are new to Wii this holiday season, aside from playing Sports and Carnival at my brother's which got us interested in the system.
This game is a hit with the whole family. Probably the only reason we haven't played more often is the set up takes slightly longer than other games. Another con I would report, the mat is too small for two large adults, but is suitable for children or an adult with a child. One other con is that there seems to be games that can not be played separately, but must be played as part of a series of three events (it took us some time to figure this out).
I wasn't ready to jump right into Wii Fit at the start of our Wii experience, but wanted a game for kids to enjoy with some exercise value too, so I went with Outdoor Challenge. It seemed a good combination of whole body motion and gaming and had a good rating on Amazon when I bought it. It's fun, challenging and a workout if you play for long periods. I think it deserves a good to great rating. I haven't played all events yet, nor have we used the teamwork mode, but I don't anticipate my view of the game to change.
Customer Rating: Summary: Outdoor Life Comment: Our family LOVES Outdoor Life. We have so enjoyed playing it. We have six and eight year old girls, and they love the variety of games. It's fun with a large group, too.
