Editorial Reviews:

GigaWorks T40 stereo speakers will fascinate you with their impressive audio delivery. Combining premium components with Creative's many years of leadership in world-class audio, each satellite delivers spacious, balanced sound, thanks to the potent combination of two high-performance midrange drivers and a dedicated high-end tweeter in MTM (midrange-tweeter-midrange) configuration, plus BasXPort technology for strong, dynamic bass without a subwoofer. The midrange drivers have woven glass fiber cones for warmth and stability, while each tweeter has a cloth dome for crystal clarity. Front mounted controls for power, volume, bass and treble, plus a versatile adaptor, made these speakers great partners for DVD players and televisions as well as PCs.

Customer Rating: Summary: four point eight out of five Comment: Ok so I wont repeat alot of the other good things said about these speakers. I moved into an apartment so I needed a quality set that didnt have the bone crushing bass my logitech Z series had (man I miss that 10 inch woofer) I was very pleased with these. I have a $35.00 diamond sound card in my computer and it pushes these speakers just fine. I have played all kinds of music, games and news talk and these speakers more than did the job. I would buy these again in a minute. The blue led isnt to bad as long as you dont look into it much. lol
Customer Rating: Summary: Pleased with speakers, better than Bose Companion 2 Comment: Good quality speakers. Sound could be the least bit louder. Replaced a set of Bose Companion 2 Series II speakers that blew out from a carpet shock. The Creative Labs speakers don't have external metal and seem to be less at a risk from static electricity. These speakers seem to have a clearer and better separated sound than the Bose.
Customer Rating: Summary: look great sound not so good. Comment: They are attractive and I often have people ask where I got them. But for how big they are the sound is VERY POOR. So I always turn people away from buying them.
Customer Rating: Summary: pretty good Comment: It sounds very good. I think it's more than worthy of its price. For those people who said it sounds bad, I guess it's the problem of your computer, try it with a CD player!
Customer Rating: Summary: Fair Comment: These are ok speakers but they can't come close to others that have a bass unit. I was given a Altec with a bass and was surprise to find the quality difference. Once you use the quality type you cant go back to the others...
