The Creative Inspire T10 redefines your listening experience. Boasting an elegant stylish look coupled with clear pristine audio, the compact Inspire T10 lets you start hearing detail in your music that you have never heard before. High frequency instruments such as strings and cymbals can now be picked out, thanks to the dedicated tweeters. Even seismic drumming can now be felt with the unique BasXPort technology, which delivers vivid bass effects that can match a speaker system with a subwoofer. The exclusive space-saving BasXPort means you don't really need an additional subwoofer to enjoy deep bass music. Acoustically engineered to enhance the lower midrange, BasXPort channels the sound waves efficiently from the inner chamber to the soundstage. A perfect combination of style and performance, the Inspire T10 is a revolutionary breakaway from traditional speaker design. With a glossy finish augmented by an acoustically slanted front, the Inspire T10 re-introduces desktop speakers. The built-in headphone jack and AUX In connector makes it easy to plug in your headphones for private listening, or play music from your MP3 player or any other analog audio devices.

Customer Rating: Summary: Decent for the price Comment: Even though I'm not as picky some, I did a lot of research before purchasing these. They're beautiful speakers with good sound. I don't go beyond a soft level usually, so I don't know how they perform when pushed, but they work very well for every day average use. So far I have no complaints and feel it was a good value.
They match my black Samsung monitor perfectly!
Customer Rating: Summary: Terrible GSM buzz Comment: As far as sound quality goes, these speakers sound fine. However, I keep them turned off almost all the time now because every time I receive a text message or phone call, the speakers go crazy and make an incredibly loud buzzing noise, at least twice as loud as anything that normally comes out of the speakers. The volume of the buzzing is terrible even when I've turned the speaker volume down. Even if I turn the speakers off when this happens, the buzzing continues for about 5 seconds after the power is off. I've tried adding ferrite beads to the speaker wires as suggested by some web pages, but that didn't help either.
Summary: If you have a GSM cellular provider (T-Mobile, AT&T, Cingular, etc.) then do not buy these speakers. CDMA users (e.g. Verizon, Sprint) shouldn't have this problem.
Customer Rating: Summary: Computer Speakers Comment: I will say that as standard computer speakers they will get the job done and the price is right. I have noticed a buzzing noise even when the speakers are off and that is annoying. Now this may be because I have them plugged into a power strip. I have not tested them on a wall socket but who wants to waste an outlet. So other that than there not bad.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good Budget Performer! Comment: I bought these via Amazon several months ago. Granted, I like the sound quality of my Sennheiser 555 headphones much better, but things like watching videos or music with my 7 year old son require speakers and I was in need of an upgrade from the crappy speakers that attached to my Dell monitor.
My major consideration with my speaker purchase was to have some depth to my sound without overly bass thumping others in the house. The bass port does provide a pretty good bass feel to the music, but at times it can feel like an artificial hump presence and unfortunately, one can't readily equilize it out. Regarding bass leak to the rest of the house...even at pretty high volumes, when I've gone downstairs, the bass thump isn't all that noticeable...so a pretty good choice is the consideration of others is a concern.
In some ways, these remind me of Bose 2.0 speakers, so one could call them "Bose Jr." Treble is pretty good, albeit somewhat thin. Overall I'd say they have a good sound quality, especially for the price. I can listen to them for hours on end, but again, I often prefer the near audiophile quality of my Senn headphones. Not too far behind though and overall a good value for the $[...] I paid for them.
Customer Rating: Summary: Really nice-sounding speakers! Comment: I recently purchased a Samsung 19" LCD TV for the kitchen and was very disappointed with the audio, so I decided to find small external speakers with very good if not excellent sound quality to connect to the TV. Although I read several positive reviews of the Creative Inspire T10 speakers before I purchased, I was still a bit wary of what I would get, as I am picky about sound quality (e.g., I have purchased quite a bit of audiophile-grade speakers and components over the years for stereo and home theater systems). But when I hooked them up and began listening, I was amazed at the wonderful tonality and frequency response that these speakers delivered. I was also very pleased with the build quality. I noticed from the carton that Creative Labs includes the well-respected Cambridge SoundWorks, a company well known for its quality speakers and high performance:price ratio, so I suspect that this arm of the company may have had input into the design of these speakers. In any case, I am buying another pair for my PC, which I think is about the highest recommendation I can make!
