Summary: Needs work, not recommended...
Comment: So what can I say about this mouse that is good? It costs about the same as a Logitech MX518 gaming mouse, so that's good. Also, OCZ tech support on their forums is great. I use there memory in both my machines.

Now for the bad part.
1. Triple threat button is too far forward, so it's hard to hit.

2. I am color blind so the flashing scroll wheel (indicates DPI on the laser)was very hard to figure out. Plus you have to scroll through all 4 or 5 settings to get to the one before the current setting.

3. The forward and back buttons are backwards. They are physically turned around. The forward button is the farthest rearward button on the mouse, and the back button is up towards the wire. Every other mouse I have used that had this button configuration, had them the other way. I use the Back button lots more than I use the Forward button.

4. The actual laser is located too far back on the mouse. You have to actually pick your hand up to move the pointer a great distance, or use your finger tips. Most other mice the pointer is further away from the palm to facilitate moving it easier and more precisely.

5. The software because of how it was designed, causes my game to minimize to the desktop. Took me a minute but I figured this one out. The command in the software simulates me using keyboard strokes. So while I am in game sprinting (pushing my ALT key), if I hit the 4 or 5 button, it would minimize my game like switching open windows. So, the software isn't useful to me at all (cause it's a gaming mouse)...

6. This thing is way too light. If you just rub it with your finger it will slide completely off your desk. My other mice, won't do that. I think this helps players be accurate.

So, I was extremely excited about getting this mouse. OCZ has always made quality products. I believe this mouse is a quality product, but the design needs some work. I don't think enough emphasis was placed on functionality. What happens in my extremely popular FPS game is proof of that. I think they would have figured out something else if they had done their research.

If you are still partially willing to buy this mouse after reading my review.. Go to OCZ's forums on their website. Do some reading. You will see what I mean. I left a nice long post in their suggestions forum on this mouse.

Summary: Not a great mouse
Comment: I bought this mouse because it was advertised as a great ergonimic gaming mouse. It is not ergonimic, it is just longer than most. It is not great for gaming, it jumps all over the place and does not give you great control. I have tried adjusting it every way I can and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Comment: Fantastic mouse! There is not a single aspect of this mouse that I dislike. The fit, finish, and design have all been flawlessly executed, and the mouse is exceptionally pleasing, both ergonomically and aesthetically. A button located behind the scroll wheel allows you to cycle through 6 different DPI settings, with the current DPI being indicated by the color of the scroll wheel backlight. The "triple-threat" button is the reason I bought this mouse, and it has performed wonderfully well. I play COD4 online, and now my favorite rifle (H&K G3) has the ability to fire in 3-shot bursts with deadly accuracy each and every time I press the perfectly positioned, studded orange "triple-threat" button. The software is easy enough to use, and although I doubt I'll have the desire to use any of the advanced settings it's nice to know that they're there, should I be so inclined. As icing on the cake, the mouse came with 8 extra gliders. In summation, this is both the least expensive and best peripheral I have ever purchased; it's a true bargain, and in my opinion OCZ could charge twice as much for this mouse and it still would be a fair price.
